Zaandam skatepark, just outside Amsterdam, is one of those places where everything naturally comes together. Skaters, bikers, scooter riders, kids playing football, people just passing through. It’s not just a skatepark, it feels more like a shared space where different energies mix.

There’s also a legal graffiti zone, which gives the whole place a different atmosphere. When we were there, we were just experimenting a bit, spraying a few things, but at the same time there were actual classes happening. People learning, improving, passing the craft forward. That was something that stuck with me.

This piece focuses on detail. Small movements, textures, cuts, and sound. Things that might seem simple on their own, but together create a certain feeling that’s hard to explain, but easy to recognize.
